About Us

Our Crews

Our ambulance crews consist of state certified EMT's. We have both basic and intermediate EMTs on our staff. All our EMTs are Volunteers. After attending an EMT class and passing state certification requirements our volunteers participate in a 3rd party rider program to perfect their skills and undergo further training on the job. We are always in need of volunteers.

Our Ambulances and Equipment

We currently have 4 fully stocked ambulances in Service for the Stevens County Area and 3 support vehicles.

Our current ambulances are all type 4, four wheel drive vehicles. Due to the nature of the Stevens County road system and our local weather conditions, four wheel drive makes transport safer for both crew and patient. Each ambulance is fully equipped with the supplies and equipment that our EMT's may need to care for their patients.

Our Facilities

In May 2003 Stevens County Sheriff's Ambulance purchased an empty building at 425 N Highway in Colville WA from Vaagen Brothers Lumber Company. The site had previously been Harbos Furniture store. In June 2004 we were able to move into our new facilities after it underwent extensive remodeling to make the building fit the needs of the service.
