WESAVE
Washington Emergency Services Association of Volunteer EMT's
WESAVE is a local EMT association created to give active members of the Stevens County Sheriff's Ambulance an organization that is represented by, and for, the volunteer EMTs. Our dedicated volunteers need a visible organization that can be recognized by members of the community.
Our Purpose
The purpose of WESAVE is to promote the welfare of the members of the WESAVE association.
The objective of the WESAVE Employee Association is to afford its members more benefits than can be legally provided by the Stevens County Sheriff's Ambulance Service, and to facilitate the dispersion of funds, flowers, gifts, and cards in recognition of authorized events.
What We Do
The WESAVE Employee Association promotes the health and welfare of our local community, as well as our local volunteer EMT's
How We Support Our Volunteers?
We are there to honor and recognize our volunteers by providing gifts, flowers, cards etc., in support of significant events that occur in their lives. Such events include births, deaths, marriage, illness, etc.
We also sponsor at lest on general social gathering annually, such as a summer barbeque and / or holiday party.
Community Support
WESAVE has sponsored booths at Kettle Falls Town & Country Days and at the NE Washington Fair. Our volunteer EMTs staff the booths and provide free blood pressure checks to community members.
WESAVE has also been a presence at the annual Relay For Life event held in Colville. We have staffed an ambulance at this event at no cost to the event sponsors, as well as sponsor a team to participate in the event.
WESAVE also coordinates yard sales and car washes to raise funds to support our volunteer EMTs.
How Can You Help?
Everything we do is in support of our local volunteer EMTs. Here are some ways that you can help:
- Participate in any or all of the fund raiser held during the year.
- Make a donation directly to the association
- Make a memorial contribution to the association in the name of a loved one.
Donations to WESAVE can be made at the Stevens County Sheriff's Ambulance office.
