The ILS class is now full with 20 students and will begin Sept. 11th promptly at 1730 hrs in the SCSA Training Center.  The class will be held Wednesday and Friday evenings at 1730 hrs to 2130 hrs and Saturdays at 0800 hrs to 1630 hrs.

The office staff is putting together a phone(s) list for SCSA personnel that will be distributed to SCSA personnel only.  This phone list will be for the private use of SCSA personnel only.  If you do not want your phone numbers listed please contact the SCSA office with that information.

WESAVE news; Please turn your raffle ticket money to Julie as soon as possible so she can determine how many tickets are left to sell.  Thank you to all who have been putting in extra time selling tickets.  We need help with the booth at the Northport Lions Club Labor Day parade and celebration and also the Marcus Cider Fest parade and celebration in October.  Thanks for all of your help at the N E Washington Fair WESAVE booth!

Fair Parade drivers and vehicle cleaners, thank you for another successful entryJ

This will most likely be the last SCSA newsletter you will receive by “snail mail”.   In a continuing effort to “go green” SCSA will be e-mailing and posting the newsletter on our website (www.sheriffsambulance.org) in the very near future along with other important EMS & EMS training information!

Reminder; If it’s in the crew room or training room fridge and it’s not marked with your name and date it can be tossed at any time. Mark it = Save it!  Please help us keep the fridges clean.

Another reminder;  Save and turn in all voided MIRs, this is very important as we need to account for all of them.  The new pink face sheets need to be filled out completely, we do the payroll from these now and also be aware of the new Code Green box and the space for your SCSA crew ID number.

If you can help with the Labor Day weekend open shifts please stop by or call the office.  There are lots of openingsJ

Thank you for volunteering with your local EMS agencies,

Bill Beusan, Coordinator
