Please see the attached information for the
EMS Evaluator Class in Spokane
on December 4th.
This updated class will be required for OTEP modules in the very near
future, so if your agency plans on continuing with the OTEP program for
recertification you will need to have a few evaluators from this new
curriculum.
SCSA primary crewmembers; SCSA
will pay for the class and provide transportation so if you would like to
attend please contact the ambulance office ASAP.
SEI
Terry Gordon will be instructing an EMT-B Class beginning January 8th.
The class will be on Monday and Wednesday evenings and Saturdays
through March 19th.
If you know of interested people please have them contact the ambulance
office (684-8261) ASAP.
An
ACLS for the EMT-B Class is scheduled at the SCSA Training Center
December 11, 2010 for 50 students.
This is a one day eight hour class (0800hrs – 1700hrs).
If you are interested please contact the ambulance office soon.
There is no cost
associated to the students for this very informative class.
It is open to all EMS
personnel in the area!
Other EMS training this month at the SCSA
Training Center includes; EMS Live @ Nite November 9th, 1845hrs (Initial
Patient Assessment) and an OTEP module (Pediatric
Emergencies) November 10th at 1830hrs.

for EMT & Rookie of the year and sign up for the Christmas Party/Dinner will
be out soon.
A big
ATTA BOYS is in order for our
own Team Rescue’s newly formed High
Angle Rescue Group who along with the assistance of other Team Rescue
and SCSA crewmembers successfully rescued a worker on a mountain top hanging
unresponsive in his safety harness inside of an antenna tower 75 feet up!
Very nice Team work.
