Are you volunteering with more than one EMS agency?  If so we need you to go online to check your status with all of your EMS agency affiliations.  Use this link https://fortress.wa.gov/doh/emsonline/EMSLogon.aspx

When you get there enter your EMS Registry Number (from your EMT card) and the last four numbers of your social security number, you will then be asked for your date of birth, when you get to the information screen towards the bottom check your “Current Agencies”, if not all are listed click on “Agency Affiliation” on the left side, then apply for changes following the instructions.

We are still having a bit of an issue with paperwork on transports from MCH to other facilities.

Please make sure that you have the necessary transport paper before you leave MCH, and also make sure that you turn all necessary paperwork in with your run sheet including a signed “blue form”, a transfer sheet signed by a physician and a hospital face sheet with patient information (clear copy).

Will the person who removed the Motorola HT1000 portable radio from vehicle 803, and the charger and spare battery from the cabinet in the garage area, PLEASE RETURN THEM!  Because of this person’s poor decision making and dishonesty we now will be putting security cameras in the building L

From the Mentor Group: We now have members of the EMT-B class riding as 3rd party riders.  If anyone is interested in helping the mentor group evaluate the 3rd party riders, please contact Barb Blackman.  Our goal is to help the 3rd party riders become successful members of our service.

If you are interested in attending the 10th Annual Haz-Mat Workshop at the HAMMER Training Center in Richland (information attached with this newsletter) please contact your agency Coordinator or Chief.  It is great training provided by the Washington State Patrol, it’s free and they will provide a room at the Clarion Hotel in Richland for the night before, April 3rd and also for April 4th.

Thank you for volunteering with your local EMS agencies
