Thank you for the help with interviewing
prospective new crew members for sponsorship from SCSA in Terry’s
EMT-B class beginning January 8th.
Our new
reclining couches arrived today for the crew lounge; they look and feel
very nice! Thank you to all involved in this project, Great Job.
Don’t forget the SCSA
Christmas party this coming Saturday evening.
It is always great fun.
This year it will be at Stephani’s Oak Street Grill where the 2010 Rookie of
the year and the MVP Crewmember of the year will be “crowned”.
Our run volume as of today is at 1590, that’s
up 60 runs over last year!
Congratulations to
Barb Cartwright, Matt Bauer, Alex
Dennis and Brandi Franz who have successfully completed the EMT-ILS class and
NREMT Practicals. Barb has
successfully completed the NREMT Pearson Vue computer based final test as
well!
Congratulations is also in order for
Fred Haueisen, Rachelle Mills and
Joe Pittelkow who successfully completed an EMS Evaluator class in
Spokane last Saturday!
Just a reminder, in January we will be required to
have exact (to the 1/10 of a mile) transported mileages from the scene to
PMCH. This will mean setting the
trip meters at the scene and reading them at PMCH or where ever you
transport to. This a new
Medicare ruling and I must say not a popular one for most agencies.
Please have a happy, fun and safe holiday season.
Thank you for volunteering with your local EMS
agencies.
